How do I create a new survey in Managing It Right?

To create a new survey, click on “Survey Setup” and then “New.” Enter the survey title, description, survey type, and division. Add an email address for submission notifications, write the email subject and text, select the status, and add your survey questions. Finally, click “Save.”

How do I send a survey manually to a client or vendor?

To manually send a survey, go to “My Clients” or “My Vendors,” select the client or vendor you want to send the survey to, click “Send Survey,” choose the survey from the list, and click “Send Survey.” The recipient will receive an email with a link to complete the survey.

What types of questions can I include in my surveys?

You can include three types of questions in your surveys: Yes-No, Open Text, and Satisfaction Level. These allow you to gather a range of feedback, from simple confirmations to detailed opinions.

Can I customize the types of surveys I create?

Yes, you can customize survey types to categorize them appropriately, such as closing surveys, vendor surveys, or warranty surveys. To create a new survey type, click “New,” enter the survey type, and click “Save.”

Can surveys be sent automatically?

Yes, surveys can be sent automatically. You can set up automatic surveys to be sent when a warranty is completed or when specific job parts reach a certain status. Configure this in your profile settings under “Send Survey on Completed Warranty” or by setting triggers in job parts.

What happens after a client completes a survey?

After a client completes a survey, you will receive an email notification with the survey details. The completed submission will also be available for review in the client’s info section or under survey submissions.
