How do employees clock in and out using the time clock?

Employees can clock in by selecting their division, vehicle, and starting mileage (if applicable), then clicking the blue “Clock In” button. To clock out, they enter the ending mileage and click the red “Clock Out” button. Each user has access to the time clock on their dashboard upon logging in.

How do employees request Paid Time Off (PTO)?

Employees can request PTO through the user side of the Managing It Right software. When a request is submitted, the subscriber will receive an email detailing the request, with options to approve or reject it directly from the email or within the software.

What is the Job Clock and how is it used?

The Job Clock tracks hours worked on specific jobs per client. To clock in, select the division, client, job, starting mileage (if applicable), enter a description, and click the blue “Clock In” button. To clock out, click the red “Clock Out” button. Users can also manually enter job times and mileage.

What reports are available for tracking employee hours?

There are two main types of reports: Time Clock Reports and Job Clock Reports. Time Clock Reports can be viewed by date and user, while Job Clock Reports can be viewed by employees or by client and jobs. Both types of reports offer daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly summaries and can be exported into spreadsheets.

How do I approve or reject PTO requests?

Subscribers can approve or reject PTO requests by clicking the button in the email notification or by selecting the request within the Managing It Right software, then changing the status to “Approved,” “Rejected,” or “Approved-Not Paid.”

Can I track employees' locations using Managing It Right?

Yes, with the optional map location capturing add-on, you can track and visualize employees’ locations in real-time, enhancing transparency and accountability. This feature is particularly useful for managing remote workforces or multiple job sites.
