What happens after I send out a bid request to vendors?

Selected vendors will receive an email requesting their bid. Once a vendor completes their bid, you will receive an email notification with the bid details. You can also view the bid details under “Reports,” then “Estimates Reports,” by selecting the bid and clicking “Show.”

What should vendors do when they receive a bid invitation?

Vendors will receive an email that includes the bid details and a link to submit their proposal. By clicking the link, vendors can enter their bid submission, including bid prices and relevant attachments. After submission, the Managing It Right subscriber will receive an email notification of the received bid.

How can I review the history of my estimates?

You can review the history of your estimates by navigating to “Reports,” then selecting “Estimates Reports.” This feature allows you to track past estimates, analyze bidding history, and make informed decisions for future projects.

Can I update vendor pricing once I receive an estimate?

Yes, once you receive an estimate from a vendor, you can update the vendor pricing by selecting the items you want to update, clicking “Update Vendor Pricing,” and saving the new pricing. This updated pricing will be reflected in “My Vendors.”

Can vendors make changes to their bids after submission?

Yes, vendors can make changes to their bids until the completion date specified in the bid invitation. They can access the bid submission page through the provided link and update their bid details as needed.

Is there a way to convert bids into jobs after receiving estimates?

Yes, Managing It Right allows you to convert bids into jobs seamlessly. After reviewing the estimates and selecting the best bid, you can proceed to convert the bid into a job within the platform, streamlining the transition from bidding to project execution.
